Oculus TrayTool : L'outil permettant d'appliquer du Super Sampling et de corriger les déconnexions USB passe en version 0.61

L'indispensable Oculus TrayTool, qui permet non seulement d'appliquer un réglage de Super Sampling par jeu mais aussi de régler les problèmes de déconnexion USB chez certains vient de se mettre à jour !

Les versions 0.6 et 0.61 apportent de nombreux changements, qui vont de changements globaux à l'ajout de nouvelles fonctionnalités tout en passant par des corrections de bugs. On vous conseille donc de télécharger la dernière version (0.61) dès maintenant, surtout si vous ne possédiez pas les anciennes versions.

  • Buggfixes:
    • Super Sampling was not applied on startup
    • Enabling Visual HUD could cause an error
    • Cleanup/Stop of services/Home could cause an error
0.6 (Beta):
  • Added "0" as SS value for use when applications have built in SS and you prefer to use that.
  • A little tweaking to the way the tool looks for started applications
  • Several new options for the Oculus Service and Home start/stop:
    • Added "restart" button for the Oculus service
    • Added "Start Oculus service when tool starts" option
    • Added "Stop Oculus service when tool exits" option
    • Added "Launch Oculus Home on service start" option
    • Added "Launch Oculus Home on tool start" option note: This requires the Oculus service to be running first so check that option as well if you usually have the service disabled.
    • Added "Close Oculus Home on tool exit" option
    For the new "Launch Home" options to work the tool needs to know where Oculus is installed. If the tool is run as Administrator it can get this path form the registry. It only does this once, then populates the config.xml with this value for future use. If you do not want to run the tool as admin/allow registry access, simply type the installation path into the config.xml manually, as in the example below. Do not forget the "" at the end. Edit: For some reason the "" at the end is not shown in the post, but the path should end with a "".

  • Added options for visual information in the HMD
    • Show Pixel Density (you can use this to check that SS changes with your profiles)
    • Show performance
  • Replaced the "Minimize" button with a "more/Less" button to show/hide the new options, to keep the interface compact and less cluttered.
